School Visits

Trevor has visited schools all over the world, in countries as far apart as Canada, China, Singapore, England, Japan and South Africa.  He has also spoken to classes in several countries via Skype.  His audiences have ranged from several students in a classroom setting to several hundred students in an auditorium.

Trevor has also spoken to adult audiences about writing, children’s literature and the place of creative writing within the high school English classroom.

As an experienced high school IB English teacher, Trevor approaches school visits with an educator’s mindset alongside his experiences as a writer (click here to visit the website he uses with his classes).

Below, you can see a few photos and videos of Trevor’s school visits and conference presentations.  At the bottom of this page, you can find a complete list of his past presentations.

Pecha Kucha Presentation in Yokohama (Video) – “Why I Write”

If you’re not familiar with Pecha Kucha, it’s a presentation format involving 20 slides, each timed to change automatically after 20 seconds.  I highly recommend giving it a go!
